I think I've finally tracked down the source of the annoying buzzing on my car the the prop support bearing. Does anyone have the part number for this part so I can get it ordered? Thanks

Well, turns out you can't get just the mount, have to buy a whole new prop at 834 plus vat!

thats going to be one option to look at, but most probably wont want to seperate them from the prop and the props sell for 80-120 quid which is a bit much considering the same could happen in a couple of months

the other thing is ive seen people mention using bmw and merc mounts instead with a little modification so will see whats involved there.

depending on the bmw/merc situation, i think ill just machine a new carrier up and fit a new bearing from our suppliers, just have to try and find a solution for the rubber donut around it

A company that makes bearings of all sorts and sizes for the industry is BRT bearings.

ive found a company in swindon who are proshaft specialists and have a range of prop shaft parts. im going to go down there and try out a C4 bearing first. if it fits the mounting brackets and the bearing is too big, then ill make a shim to make it fit.

will keep this updated incase anyone else has this issue
