hi i need a 2nd key for my audi a3 2002

The part number of my current key is  4D0 837 231 A - 433.92 MHZ

I have found a key on ebay and part number is 4D0 837 231 K - 433.92 MHZ will this work with my car

That was my route mate. The change in the Letter at the end was because of the update over the years.

That key should work. There wont be a problem getting it to turn off the alarm and working the central locking but as you said it wont do the immobiliser.

A friend of mine had Vagtacho and he works for the dealer. But he says he uses it all the time and he couldnt get it to connect with the immobiliser.

So its cut, and it does the alarm. But it wont drive.

To be honest it was a waste of time and should of just gone to the dealer.
