Well.... its a lot better, infinity better I might say! The engine and gearbox go together so well... it shocks me ever time when i boot it and look at the speedo!

Good spec too... DSG, MFD2, loads of option packs, armrest, 5dr, cruise, MFSW+paddles... the lot

A remap is on the cards but not till next year really, ill probably go with Revo, which should see just below 300!

Ive got a walk kit to be fitted... still in its box, and plan to upgrade to R32 front brakes when i can, as the 312mm dont inspire much confidence when hooning it!

Very well!

Initially had a soft pedal but took it back today for a check on the hoses for leaks and a re-bleed and now the pedal feel is very good! Initially bite is getting better as the bed in and they really do stop very well!

Very happy with the upgrade... i wanted to keep it OEM and they are perfect for what i or should i say the ed30 requires! (312mm just dont cut the mustard)

First handling mod had been fitted.... WALK kit! Seems to have improved front end grip which was an issue especially coming out of corners!

Got them 2nd hand for 100quid... i think they are 165 new!

Love these, im thinking about getting an edition 30 next year if i can get a white one for around 12k?

would you recomend it or should i go for a new 3 series or A5?

Of course he will advise it, do you know what forum your on ? you cant have a vw or 3 series otherwise there will be a witch hunt with a hanging ie you !!

Well... when i got the car i said i would keep it for a year. The problem is that i have now become very attached to it and I can't bring myself to sell it... even though my fuel bills are massive.

I had to get it mapped, it was time!

Thanks Damian. I think that's pretty average result. I've seen some make 280 and some make 300, so I'm quite happy to think that it's an accurate result :-)

 The map looks good. Alot of usable torque. Whats stopping you rich getting into the 330 mark, Exhaust/ twintercooler? Looks sweet though.

How do you find the power? Ive driven fwd with that much power and you have to be careful about road cambers in the wet and its tough enough getting the power down if your abit thugish with the gas

330 would need downpipe + cat, intake, upgraded HPFP and intercooler. I won't be after any more power. 

Alloys need a refurb, previous owner had a chew on them!

 I agree its alot more money for power that wont really be usable.
