Active coming home lights or whats needed?

    As the above i spoke to a kid on audisport with the same car and he said he just activated his with vagcom but i never asked him whats needed ie auto lights etc,steve at statller had a look earlier but he thought it also needed the auto lights etc which mine hasnt got,does anyone know whats needed and what parameters we need to look at

    Just VCDS and a repair wire if I remember rightly. Pretty sure that you don't need auto lights. I'll have a look, I found a good guide a while back.

    Yup, just a repair wire and VCDS and no need for auto lights or wipers. Here's the linky

    I managed to enable them on my mk5 golf without a repair wire, must be a different setup on the audi

     Agree/disagree Joe,its like the new honda's we have in at work,its cool to have the button starting the car but seem pointless that to stop the car you still have to have the key in the ignition and turn it off by doing so rather than just pressing the button again
