The V8 is a much lazier (anda bit slower) driving experience than I was acustomed to but that suits me just fine now as I'm a much less aggressive driver than I was. Only plans for the engine are an LPG and maybe a remap.

Louise now has 2.0TDI A3 (8P) Sport in Dolphin Grey with Leather/Alcantara interior, loads of extras including xenons, auto lights, cruise etc.. I've retrofitted an RNS-E sat nav and OEM bluetooth and also added 18" RS4 B7 reps and a hybrid turbo. Only future plans for that are an MFSW and maybe a reversing camera.

How much are you looking at for an LPG conversion then? The appeal of LPG is quite big with the large engined VAG cars. There are quite a few Pheaton owners who've converted.

2.0 TDI eh.. Very swish! Tell her I said hello Smile You'll have to get some pics posted.

Some uk-audis stickers going spare if you want them btw (see post in the announcements section)

Looking at around £2k for the LPG conversion which should pay for it's self in around a year to 18 months. That's from an A8/S8 specialist who can install the filler under the standard filler flap and incorporate the switchgear into a standard dash switch. I'm just waiting for them to finish their own car and then they'll be doing mine.

We don't have any pics of the A3, I'll have to sort some next time it's clean.

With the right system the power loss on LPG is negligible, however if required it can be setup to switch over to petrol at higher revs, the other alternative is an LPG specific remap to take advantage of LPG's higher octane rating.

Great looking car eddy, i love them!

This may sound astupid question, but the rear seats dont fold down do they? Reason i ask is that i had thought of getting an A8 but me and the mrs go snowboarding and need to be able to fit our boards in the back of the car.

Seats don't fold down but there are a few around with the ski bag package which has a ski bag that allows ski's or snowboards to fit in a bag routed from the boot and through the rear centre armrest.
