    hello

    does anyone know if my dads 1998 Audi A4 1.8T SLine would have wires layed for a CD Mulitchanger? if so where would it be located?

    Welcome to the forum Lee.

    I wouldn't have thought the wiring would be there to be honest. Multichangers are usually in the glovebox or in the boot as far as I know.

    There was an option for 6xCD in dash though wasn't there ? Or was that later ?

    ive got the 6dash changer 'concert' i think it is could be 'opera' though.

    mines a 53reg.

    i dont think it will have the wiring there tbh. have tried having a peek behind the boot panels or glovebox?

    Not sure on that one Damian.

    Presumably the car didn't have a factory fitted changer?

    i think the 6xCD in the dash might of been later.

     

    were going to have a look at the weekend and c if there any wires there.

     Should be wired up there alright, Normally they are tied with cable ties around the wiring loom to the rear lights, You can get to them by removing the side carpet panel Yes

     Hope it is as it will save alot of pulling. It might have factory fitted plug insulation around it. Good luck Yes
