Why did I just get 2 emails from this testing area?

 My posts seem to dissapear as soon as I submit them, this is a test post to see if I can read my own posts, and if they are visible to others.

I had a third one also titled 'Test AwesomeJimbo'

I got them aswell  Not even subscribed to anything on here about from 1 thead i made ages ago.

 same here, i got 5 emails, 2 called "testing....", "test", "pic" and "test AwesomeJimbo"

I've emailed Tabs to let him know.

I've not got anything.

Can you do me a favour chaps.....each of you start some new threads in the testing forum. I'll delete them and let me know in this thread if you get the same emails.

Seems as though the emails have been generated by them being deleted.

And I've just e-mailed you about it Dave.  It's some fool who's obviously got too much time on his hands... he says he drives a Vauxhall too... that's why he has time - his car's always in the garage!

Haven't got the email yet Ben. I've sent Tabs a PM. I suspect it might be something to do with deleting the old testing posts.

Only got notifications of your posts on the two threads i made saying thanks.

Nothing odd there but did get one from 'Anonymous' again this time titled 'Random Thread' but with no text in the post itself. Guess that thread didnt show up either?

That's it then - it's generated when the threads in the testing forum are deleted.

The "Random Test" thread was mine, which I deleted. Not sur why it came up as Anonymous though.

So who deleted the first posts we got email notifications about then?

I can remember a prob with this not so long ago... i got 150 emails for every reply to ever post i had posted in... is it rearing its filthy head again?

Sorry about that folks. Seems there's a bug with the testing forum when posts are deleted.
