Well, whilst away at the ring in May, the ABS light lit up and the handling was less and the power wasn't shifting to the back.

VAGCOM scans showed no-comms to the AWD Controller and then discovered blown fuses.

Three blown fuses later, it came home on 2WD, and went into AMD.  THey fixed some corrosion issues in the pins of the connector, and all seemed OK, but a week later, boom there goes the fuse again.

Today the controller (blue sports) came out and the OEM one went back in.  Will be monitoring over the next couple of weeks and hopefully it'll all stay stable and I can send the ECU back under warranty.

Just praying it's not worse, and boom again goes the fuse now we're back on teh old controller Tongue Tied

I have that same PDF - it's not really too much help as although it tells you what goes on with the hydraulics etc. it doesn't give you a whole load of detail on the actual electronics inside it and without taking the unit apart and invalidating any kind of warranty it'd be hard to pick up on a fault.

Mr B - hopefully it's a faulty controller and something on the circuitboard inside it is shorting out and blowing the fuse.  If it's not the controller then I'm at a bit of a loss as to why it's trying to draw more current than it should unless it's a fault in the vehicle loom, but Id've thought that'd be unlikely.

Keep us posted on how you get on.

    Jon.

Haven't been around for a while, but the update is that it went back to TTS, who sent it to Haldex.  They had a good sniff around, and decided that "it's "knacked".

So, as I speak a new one's being put back on the TT!

Glad it got sorted under warranty, although a shame they've not been able to give you any more detail about what the actual failure was - would be interesting to know as an uprated controller is on the list of 'Mods I've not Done Yet'.
