It's booked to be done in a couple of weeks time. Funnily enough, I've just been talking to my neighbour as his Seat has just been done. He said it's made a noticable difference - smoother. Will let you know if I feel a difference.

Snowing heavily here. Just been out sledging with the little lady. Fun.

Stuck at home instead of a wedding I should be at. Can't get off the driveway and don't fancy bouncing the car off the kerbs as I watched another car doing this evening! All the local taxi services have stopped services too.

Morning all. More snow currently predicted here for the end of the week. Struggling to find some new kitchen tiles as wifey wants to update ( and hates the ones that have been there for 7 years since we moved in ).

    Morning all.

Tiling = Thumbs Down. Are you doing the work yourself, or getting someone in, Damian? I really ought to change ours this Summer when I get some free time but we keep thinking about moving.

350 wall or floor tiles? Thats a big kitchen if they're floor tiles.

Slippy???? Tell me about it, Dave. Almost fell over on an ice-rink-like pavement on the way to school this morning and the council had chosen not to treat a section of path with a 20deg incline - the only way to get to the top was using a hand rail to pull oneself up with.

    '57 Ibis White S3 33k miles Stage 1..............£16499 - pics here

The white one is supposed to be an absolute minter. Don't know about the black one but for that money, you could afford to put some money into it.

Looks like the guy has dropped the price to just under £16k. Could make him an offer?

Doing it yourself can be the best thing if you take your time and do it right. My parents paid a fortune for tiler to come and do their bathroom, it looks cack.

Do you really like it? Is it is it wicked?

Plus you get the satisfaction of doing it yourself. I did our kitchen floor and, for a first attempt, I was quite pleased - learned a lot for next time.

The only trouble with the wall tiles is removal of the old tiles without making too much of a mess to the walls.

Morning lads, very cold this am,

Dave are you after that white s3?

tiling, is very easy to do, just take your time, you already have a straight line to work off, i bought an electric tile cutter for about £40, the best thing i have ever bought for tiling

Morning all. Very cold here too. I just hope that the council have seen sense and got the gritters out.

No, there's not enough doors for me Dave. I've seen it on another forum and it's a lovely car, very well cared for from the look of it and a good spec too.

When I did my floor, I used an angle grinder to cut the tiles. Worked really well and it meant I could do the bits an ordinary tiles cutter wouldn't do.

No snow here. The flakes that fell went slushy and then froze, making it trecherous on the roads and pavements. Plenty of fallers this morning.
