work rang yesterday, pleading with me to work next week, so i am in Huddersfield for 7-10days, then 2 weeks off

hotel,s fine nice room free wifi,but i will not be eating in the hotel anymore, fish and chips, and a teaspoon of what i think was mushy peas £15, that was the cheapest meal on the menu

Morning folks. Rained all night but seems to have cleared now. Glad I mowed the lawn yesterday - I doubt I'll get the opportunity this week as the grass will be too wet after all the rain! Got some sun now but there's lots of grey clouds. Ho hum.

cloudy and dull in Surrey too. Got a hectic weekend ahead - wifey working tonight and my eldest is training at Chelsea. Tomorrow he has the first match of the season but it about 30 miles away.

Damian, that sounds just like what happened to us when we left the V festival. Took us ages to get off the car park. Felt really sorry for the taxi driver as he gave us a fixed price rather than on the meter. Took an hour to do a 10 minute journey....so frustrating.

on the upside, we met this lady - very nice she is too
