    Hi finally purchased myself a OBD lead but now need to know what version of Vag.Com I would need to download for a 2002 VW PASSAT TDI . can anyone give us a idea . Thanks

     I think your car is pre-CAN. So version 409.1 i think. if you email rosstech though they are good at getting back to you. Thats the version im using atm.

    Hi Stevee ,

    When I went to Ross-Tech  409 Downloads it ask for Various types interface's ? I know that the OBD  lead is Usb connection  and that the drivers have been installed correctly on my Vista laptop  but that's all I have managed to sort out achive .

     Ive had the same problem. Because the end of my vagcom cable is for a Serial port. I had to buy a Serial to USB lead. Then install the drivers, then test to see it connects to the car properly, then register with Ross-tech.

    Do you really like it? Is it is it wicked?
