hi guys, im new to this forum, live on uk-mkivs.net. ive got a W plate, early 2000 tt quattro (APX engine) which im currently dismanteling to put into a mk1.

it dawned on me today when i was tagging all the plugs and wires, that i cant find the diagnostic plug anywere. ive got the whole interior out so im suprised i cant find it!

does this car even have a plug? or is it hidden somewere?

Is it not down near the bonnet pull?

 i shall check there, although was under the steering column yesterday and didnt spot it, thats actualy the only panel thats still in the car, the one behind the bonet pull, so could be around there i guess

To actually see it you'll have to shove your head down with the pedals, but yeah it should be almost directly above the bonnet catch, and potentially partially hidden behind the lower dash plastics.
